How is shipping cost calculated?

Shipping costs on Encore are calculated based on several factors, including the distance between the seller and the buyer, the weight of the item, and the dimensions of the package.

Encore partners exclusively with USPS Ground Advantage (2–5 business days) to provide competitive and reliable shipping rates.

• Auctions: Shipped via USPS Ground Advantage

• Buy It Now Listings: Shipped via USPS Ground Advantage

• Giveaways: Encore currently covers 100% of the shipping cost for all giveaways — neither the seller nor the buyer pays for shipping. These are also shipped via USPS Ground Advantage

Combined Shipping & Refunds

If you purchase two or more items (Buy Now or Auction) from the same seller and the orders are still pending shipment, Encore will automatically attempt to combine them into one shipment.

Here’s how it works:

• When the seller prepares your shipment, they’ll be prompted to combine any eligible open orders.

• Once combined, Encore will automatically issue a refund for any shipping savings.

• You’ll also receive a notification confirming the amount refunded.

• Refunds are issued back to your original payment method and may take 3–7 business days to appear, depending on your bank.

Sellers do not have access to the funds collected for shipping. All shipping charges are managed directly through Encore and our third-party shipping partner (USPS).
